I graduated from Drake University with a double major in Marketing and International Business. The marketing degree was added when I realized that I didn't enjoy the finance background I was building and if I didn't have some creativity in my life, I'd suffer.
After college I moved to Denver, CO and fell in love with 300 days of sunshine a year, little humidity, and the mountains. I spent 2 years doing graphic design and database programming for Norwest/Wells Fargo, then 2 years at Spectrum HR Systems as the Marketing Communications Specialist before discovering Epilog.
I feel incredibly lucky to have found a wonderful company that takes great care of me. I take great pride in the company and what it stands for.
I started this blog as a way to spend a few minutes a day thinking about the concepts of marketing and being able to write down my thoughts. Too often I think we get into the trap of day-to-day tasks without looking at the big picture. This blog gives me the chance to try and put it all in perspective. If I can't learn from what's happened to me in the day, then it's been a waste.
